About Opsis

The mirror we wished
we had while studying.

Opsis is passive work intelligence for students and knowledge workers: it maps how you actually spend focus, how AI fits into your thinking, and what keeps breaking your rhythm, without asking you to log a thing.

Our vision

Clarity that changes how you work,
without telling you how.

Most productivity tools add work: forms, timers, guilt. We believe the biggest leverage is seeing the truth clearly, then choosing your own change. That is what Opsis is for.

See what you cannot see from inside

You know how a day felt. You rarely know how it actually went. Opsis runs quietly in the background and, after a few days, surfaces patterns that are invisible while you are in the middle of them: where time really went, when you are sharp, what keeps pulling you away.

Zero friction, zero performance theatre

No setup wizard, no daily logging, no streaks or nudges. Install once, work normally, look when you are curious. The product earns trust by staying out of your way and showing you honest signal, not gamified guilt.

Specific insights, not dashboards

We are not building another screen-time chart. Opsis is designed to name things: conditional performance (what predicts your best hours), AI dependency (how you actually use ChatGPT and Cursor), structural fault lines (the pattern that keeps breaking), and trajectory (where your prep is heading). Insights you can act on, not aggregates you forget.

Built by people who lived the grind

We are Melbourne students who have sat through VCE, selective-entry pressure, and the first years of university, juggling tabs, deadlines, and AI tools before anyone had language for it. Opsis is the tool we wanted: clarity without changing how we work.

Your data stays yours

Opsis observes app focus on your machine to build your picture. We are building for people who care about privacy as much as productivity: local-first thinking, no selling your attention graph, and a product that respects that your work patterns are personal.

Most people who use Opsis for a couple of weeks change something about how they work, not because the app nudged them, but because they saw something they had not noticed before.
